Why should you join?
You get to try the new scoring system in close matches that matter. You get 3 evenly matched games and about 1 hour of rest between each match. And you get to fine-tune your game before the season starts.
Invitation-only players
If you are invited, it’s because you are near the top of the men’s singles ranking in your age group.
This means you can expect to play three evenly matched games against other strong players.
You are guaranteed 3 matches (1 hour break between each)
You get to try the new 15-point system in 3 matches. And we guarantee that you get a 1-hour break between each match.

Practical information
Trophies for group winners
The group winners receive a nice trophy immediately after the end of the event.
At Racketour we think trophies are much cooler than medals or sponsor gear that you might not even be able to use.
Prizes for the 3 best deceptions
There are trophies engraved with "Deception King" for the three best deceptions.
The winners are selected by Racketour based on video analysis of all matches. The prizes are delivered to the three winners approx. 1 week after the end of the event.
These prizes are offered because we believe that those who dare to attempt difficult feints in matches should be rewarded.
Who is invited?
U23 players born in 2004–2009 who are highly ranked in their own age group and play 2nd division or higher in the team league.
Players enrolled at NETC cannot participate. First, the top 12 are invited. If there are still open spots, reserves are invited until Racketeer has received a total of 8 registrations.
In case of withdrawals, players from the reserve list are invited. Foreign players may participate if they are invited.
There are scorers for all matches, but no umpires, and there are no Badminton Denmark ranking points at stake.
Trophies are awarded to the group winners as well as prizes for the 3 best technical shots or deceptions.

This is where we play the U23 Invitational in August 2026
The tournament is played on 2 courts at Gentofte Badminton Club.
The facilities at Gentofte Badminton Club are among the oldest in Denmark. The club is known as one of the leading elite clubs in Denmark.
Numerous star players have represented GBK over the years.
Currently the club has many national team players who represent GBK in the Badminton League or on one of the divisional teams.
